FAQ’s

  • No partner or experience is required! This is a beginner level program. We wiIl be rotating partners through class so you can practice with everyone. If you know someone who would make a good partner, encourage them to join us too!

  • Some light and comfortable clothing, and flat shoes with non-grip soles are best. We recommend you bring a towel, a spare t-shirt if you tend to sweat a lot, and a water bottle.

  • For yours and everyone’s best experience, we do not allow casual attendance. It's best you attend all sessions so you don't miss much! Each week incorporates elements from previous weeks, working in a progressive order.

  • We recommend everyone attends our Beginners courses a couple of times before progressing through to our next level Foundations. Please don't rush the process, enjoy learning!

    After beginners our teachers will tell you when you are ready to progress through our levels with these recommended timeframes:

    Beginners: 3 months
    Foundations: 6 months+
    Improvers: 1 year +
    Intermediate: 1.5 - 2yrs
    Advanced
    Professional

  • We welcome all ages in our classes, we currently have people in their 20’s and people in their 60’s+. Dance is for everyone!

  • Not at all! This program is open to absolutely everyone.

  • LEC is located right near the North Melbourne train station. There is also street parking available on Abbotsford street and many surrounding streets.
